Infertility is one of the most pressing and difficult medical and psychological problems … Russian statistics are sad – every fifth couple of childbearing age is
infertile today. But even these numbers are possibly inaccurate. The difficulties of counting are connected with the fact that people learn about their infertility only
when they have a desire to have children, and this “does not work.” Many people with impaired fertility are simply unaware of their illness, since it does not affect
their vital interests.
