Comparative evaluation of various diagnostic methods for Helicobacter pylori in the process of eradication therapy

Purpose of this message – comparative assessment of a number of methods diagnostics of Helicobacter pylori (Hp) with the possibility of their use for the assessment of eradication therapy.

Materials and methods: 60 patients with diseases of the digestive system, including 80% with erosive and ulcerative lesions of the stomach and duodenum, were comprehensively examined, including electropuncture diagnostics of Hp using the equipment of the IMEDIS Center, esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGDS) with gastrobiopsy and assessment of biopsy and radionuclides diagnostic methods – isotope breath tests using the radiopharmaceutical “Ureacaps fourteenC “and urea 13С, undergoing clinical trials at Clinical Hospital No. 83 in accordance with the permission of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. Radiopharmaceutical “Ureacaps fourteenC “is a urea solution labeled fourteenC, dispersed on the surface of pyrophosphate, placed in a gelatin capsule – intended for oral administration.
